As per the reports being circulated on social media through TOI handle, Tejashwi Yadav said he is being targeted because of he belongs to a backward and poor family. CBI has raided premises of Lalu Prasad Yadav and his family members in connection with un declared assets worth crores. CBI has also registered FIR in the same case against Tejashwi Yadav.

CBI had summoned Misha Bharti who is the daughter of Lalu Prasad Yadav and is also a senior leader of RJD. Her husband was also called for questioning however he skipped and did not present himself in front of ED.

CBI has raided Lalu's Patna home on July 7th and collected proofs of his upcoming malls and lands which was donated to him by un identified donors. Sushil Modi has asked for Tejashwi's resignation after CBI filed an FIR against him and have requested Nitish Kumar to sack him from his post.
