One person detained in Reliance Jio data leak case

Rajasthan police has confirmed that one person has been detained on the suspicion of involvement in the data leak case . One Monday, news had erupted that more than 100 million user data has been leaked to a website.

As per the reports published in one of the English daily, Reliance is internally investigating the case and verifying whether personal data of 100 million users have been leaked to "Magicapk.com".

Reliance is completely supporting the police in their investigation and is providing the required details and proofs whenever asked for.

As per report in TOI, one person named Imran Chhimpa has been detained in this case and is being interrogated further to ascertain his involvement in the leak. The news of his detention was also confirmed by the proprietor of a local internet service provider from which Chhimpa was taking services, TOI report said.
