Salman Khan agrees to pay back losses suffered by distributors, "Being Smart"



As per the reports coming from different sources, Salman will pay approximately 55 crores to the distributors who have faced losses after the recently released Salman's starrer "Tubelight" could not succeed at the box office.

Salman Khan starrer Tubelight has grossed Rs. 114.50 crore net at the Indian box office till now. 

Komal Nahta, a film trade analyst and critic has confirmed that Salman has agreed to pay the money back to distributors who have suffered huge losses because of his movie. This could be well planned strategy for Salman as well who again have to go to the same distributors to sell his next movie. The gesture will ease his relations with the distributors.

Salim Khan also confirmed the news and said when the distributor suffers the loss producers must take the responsibility and share the burden together, Mid-Day confirmed. He also added that "it is the team which suffers the loss and not one person or group and distributors are part of team and they must be compensated and we are doing the same".


After the release Salman has while talking media has said that hew was happy with critics this time who gave him 1 and somewhere 2 as he was expecting minus 3 and minus 4. As per him the movie was completely beyond expectation and his usual earlier Eid releases which had songs and dance. Tubelight is an emotional movie and it will bring tears in to the eyes of viewers.
