I am happy to introduce brand BOGATCHI - the fastest growing brand of chocolates online in India. The sad part is even the wrapper does not change. Chocolate are widely used for purpose of gifting, especially among youngsters. When we gave a deep thought about this the whole situation looked very funny. Due to lack of options we can gift same chocolate to our sister on rakhi and same chocolate to girl friend on Valentine's Day. The whole idea of gifting gets defeated here. For example our Happy Birthday is different from our Happy Anniversary Collection which is different from our Valentine's Day Collection.


Further, the adult consumption market is hugely ignored. Chocolate has always been considered as a product for kids. Definitely kids form the big chunk of market, but adult consumption of chocolates is on rise. People look for different tastes of chocolates. But the options are very limited. What if someone wants to eat 50% dark chocolate with Walnuts and Cranberries? There is no brand in the market that caters to such unique choices. But, BOGATCHI does. This concept we promote. "MAKE YOUR OWN CHOCOLATE". There are 1000 million possible combinations of chocolates. You can choose and make chocolate exactly as per you taste. With Just in Time method of operations management BOGATCHI aims at mass customization. In fact, people can personalize the chocolate by printing photo on the chocolate in edible Ink.

About Founders

Aakriti Gupta

Ms. Aakriti Gupta: Ms. Aakriti is the Master Chef in the team. She is a food technologist by education and responsible for all the fabulous and drool worthy chocolates we produce. She is as passionate about chocolates as our customers are. She has done MBA in Agri Business Management from SIIB. Post that she has managed the Food Category at Food Bazaar for Northern Region and has supervised opening of more than 30 Food Bazaar in her tenure. She has also served as consultant to SAVEMAX to help them start their retail operations in India as Opening up their restaurant under the brand name “Purani Dilli”. She had brief stint at leading cold sauces and snacks manufacturer of India ‘Mrs. Bectors Food Specialties LTD’ which operates under the brand name CREMICA. Over all she has about 10 years of experience in food marketing and retail.
All through her corporate career she has been making chocolates as a hobby. Her passion for chocolate made her travel across America and Europe to explore and closely study the chocolate culture in these highly developed markets. During her travel, she mastered the art and craft of making mouthwatering chocolates. After observing such a huge gap in the chocolate consumption of developed markets and India, she decided to become a professional chocolatier. She is responsible for serving innovative new flavors of chocolate to customers and improves manufacturing operations along with business development.

Ansh Gupta
Dr. Ansh Gupta :- Dr. Ansh is a Doctorate (PhD) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow. He has done his doctoral dissertation on Green Marketing from consumer behavior perspective with focus on Green Experience and Green Brand Equity. His research work has been supported by CII - Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre. He has been invited to present his research work at various renowned International conferences around the world by some of best institutions such as YALE University (USA), European Marketing Academy (EMAC), Academy of Marketing Science (AMS), University of Lethbridge (Canada), Monash University (Australia), Academy of Indian Marketing, Market Research Society of India (MRSI) among others. He is a member of Academy of Marketing Science, one of the most prestigious bodies in the area of Marketing. He has been offered the first ever Post-doctorate fellowship by Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University - Business School, South Africa. He has co-authored a book "Decoding Lucknow: Special Issue on Food" published by Centre for Marketing in Emerging Economies at IIM Lucknow.
Graduated from Delhi College of Engineering, he had stints at ALSTOM, The NIELSEN company. He was selected as sub lieutenant to serve in Indian Navy. He served as manager with Marketing Science (AMAP) team at MillwardBrown where he provided analytics based brand consulting to some of top brands such as COCA-COLA, FANTA, SPRITE, VODAFONE, GOOGLE, PEPSI, OMO, DOVE, SAFARICOM, AIRTEL among others. He worked for great brands across North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia.  He is responsible for marketing strategies, investor relations, NPD and product design.
